Stefan is an associate attorney with Thorp, Purdy, Jewett, Urness, and Wilkinson, P.C. His practice focuses primarily on civil litigation, property law, family law, and landlord tenant law. He enjoys working with clients to find the best solution to their unique situation.
Before attending law school, Stefan spent ten years in the software development field, specializing in educational software for developmentally delayed children. He then returned to the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh to finish his bachelor’s degree, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in political science. Stefan earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon School of Law. During law school he interned for the University of Oregon in their NCAA compliance department. He then interned with the Oregon Law Center, where he represented low-income clients in landlord tenant disputes.
Prior to joining the firm Stefan clerked for the Honorable Amit K. Kapoor of the Lane County Circuit Court. He then worked at a non-profit law firm, assisting clients of limited means with a variety of legal issues.
Outside the office, Stefan enjoys spending time with his wife and their puppy, Koda, hiking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, playing golf, and supporting his favorite sports teams, including the Oregon Ducks.
